Project Leader – Functional Validation & Performance

About the role

As a project leader in the Functional Validation team, your main goal will be to support the overall project leads for your department. This involves coordinating tasks, resources, and timelines to ensure project goals. You will serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and timely reporting of project progress.

Responsibilities

  • Manage software validation and calibration timelines, ensuring completion, scope, and budget adherence.
  • Align project timelines with the overall program schedule and priorities.
  • Create and track project plans, including resources, milestones, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve resource conflicts and constraints.
  • Monitor project progress, adjusting as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to timelines, resources, and execution.
  • Serve as the primary contact from the functional validation and performance department for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise reports to management, stakeholders, and customers on project status and performance.
  • Resolve roadblocks proactively, escalating when needed.
  • Promote process improvements and best practices within the team.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in automotive engineering or related field.
  • Experience with SW validation and calibration processes.
  • Proven project management experience, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong coordination skills with functional teams to meet objectives.
  • Experience in dynamic, customer-facing environments.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, able to manage priorities and multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Adaptable and proactive in a rapidly changing technical environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are goal oriented.
